BLESMA helped them realise there is life after amputation

Queen's Birthday Honour MBE for Keith Meakin

Keith MeakinKeith Meakin was made MBE in Her Majesty's Birthday Honours for services to BLESMA. We are all absolutely delighted. Keith is employed as the Area Welfare Officer for the Midlands.

He has been doing this work for 12 years and has built up a wealth of experience so much so that he is consulted from far and wide and not just from BLESMA. He has had a huge impact on the quality of life of the 900 Members young and old that he is responsible for. Truly deserving of National recognition.
