CD for forces charity to be unveiled at Stringfellows

Fundraiser CDAn album which is raising funds for injured service and ex service personnel is to be officially launched at Peter Stringfellow's club, central London, on Wednesday 22 October 2008.

Produced by renowned singer and ex-paratrooper Keith Kingham, the CD will raise money for the British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (BLESMA), the national charity specifically for limbless serving and ex-service men and women, their dependants and their widows.

Titled Sing Out! For Wounded Warriors, the CD has been produced in conjunction with another recent fundraising event carried out by Keith. In August, he climbed Britain's three highest mountains (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) and sang a pertinent song at the peak of each one, on behalf of BLESMA.

Keith has now combined his talent with renowned songwriter Tim Spencer to record nine heart-warming tracks that include 'You Raise Me Up' and 'Never Walk Alone'.

The CD launch, at which Keith will be singing live, takes place on the 22nd October at Peter Stringfellow's Angels Soho club, from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and the price includes a free CD, drinks and canapés.

To purchase a ticket for the launch contact Sgt Julie Calder on 0207 218 7453 or email:julie.calder561@mod.uk.
