St George's Day Rugby Match
The “brainchild” of the owner of London Wasps Steve Hayes, come along and celebrate St. George’s Day with an exciting event for fans with a fun day at the home of the Rugby Football Union that will become a national institution. Join London Wasps and Bath at the UK’s most prestigious fortress: TWICKENHAM STADIUM.
Follow your heroes into battle on the nation’s proudest day, St George’s Day, 23rd April 2011, London Wasps versus Bath.
The match will see London Wasps and Bath do battle on the hallowed turf of Twickenham with an exciting entertainment line-up, with a distinct patriotic flavour, there's every reason to join us at Twickenham on the day for the St George's Day Game.
There is a fantastic fit between Wasps, a club which has produced more English talent than most, and this, the most patriotic of days in England. The St George's Day Game will raise money for four chosen military charities that support service personnel, past and present;Airborne Forces, BLESMA, Combat Stress & Special Boat Service Association. A fun packed day of exhibitions and activities will take place prior, during and after the match.
