Through Payroll Giving you can help Blesma support limbless and injured veterans for the duration of their lives.
What is Payroll Giving?
Payroll Giving, also known as Give as you Earn, enables you to donate regularly from your gross pay or pension. The donations are taken from your pay or pension before income tax is applied, making it a tax-effective way to give. For example, it would only cost £8 to make a £10 donation if you are a 20% taxpayer. As a result, it costs you less to give more.
How Payroll Giving helps Blesma
Payroll Giving donations are now more important than ever. By giving through your payroll, it helps provide a reliable, monthly income to Blesma.
Blesma makes a positive difference to the lives of limbless and injured veterans. Your support every payday allows us to advocate for veterans, provide prosthetics advice, financial assistance, year-round activities, as well as practical advice and emotional support to injured veterans and their families.
£10 a month could cover the travel costs to get a veteran to employment related training or to a hospital appointment.
£250 a year could help eight Blesma families (limbless veterans, partners, and children) attend a regional or local family fun day to meet other families who share their experiences.
£500 a year could help 25 Limbless veterans or their widow(er)s attend a regional or local Blesma brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea to help ease isolation and loneliness.
