We are delighted that the Nationwide Colleague Grants Programme has donated a very generous £10,000 grant to Blesma to support limbless and injured veterans living in the South West of England for 2025/2026.

This kind donation has supported the delivery of our community-based Outreach activities programme for Blesma Members and their families. Activities and support provided by our regional Blesma Support and Outreach Officers continues to bring fellow veterans and their families together, enabling them to gain mutual support and build connections, contributing towards long-term friendships to ease isolation and loneliness.

Activities such lunches and brunches, festive meals out, visits to local landmarks, arts/crafts sessions and adaptive sports taster activities will be funded by the programme from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
