About the Sessions
Introductory taster session in Meditation, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for partners and carers.
Take some time for yourself, and find out about the benefits of meditation and self-compassion for those who support and care for a loved one.
This taster session will include a short introduction from Catherine Powell (London Meditation Project) about how an attitude of self-compassion can help with self-care, relaxation, relationships, acceptance, confidence, boundaries self-respect, sleep, and other things too! There will be space to introduce ourselves, a led experiential meditation practice (not too long!), and space for questions, all in the company of others with shared experiences.
If you enjoy these sessions, you are then warmly welcome to join the Meditation Mondays for Partners/Carers course which will begin 2 June and run weekly on Mondays until 14 July. These will take place from 1pm to 2.30pm on Zoom.

Catherine has 30 years meditation experience, and co-founded the Peace of Mind Project, which began leading meditation and mindfulness events for veterans from 2011.
